Well, never did get served.  My soon to be ex did not follow the instructions provided with the papers, and only filed one copy...therefore warrant division and the judge did not get their copies, so, no court date was ever set and I never got served.  After checking with the clerk of courts last week Friday, I left my ex a message and made her aware of the error.  She no longer even returns my calls, so I have a feeling something is up.

Got an email from the Sheriff today, he finally has the papers.  My buddies think I am going to go through the roof, they are sure there will be a suprise or two in them.  My lawyer just told me to NOT sign anything, just take the papers and bring them directly to him.  One thing I don't like already, is that she put our house address on them as her address, even though she left on 11/15/02 and she moved in with her boyfriend a week later.

Thank God I:
1.  Got rid of the guns.
2.  Videotaped all our material possesions and property
3.  I have a good lawyer.
4.  Have documented all conversations and all intel I have dug up for the last three months.  Phone bills are great.  So are court records.

Much of the above were due to advice I recieved here.  Thank you!  Your advice has helped a lot.  The prayers have helped too.  I see a brilliant future ahead beyond this ugliness.

I might not get a chance to post tomorrow, so I thought I would hit youse with it this morning.
Looks like we are finally moving forward.
I'm nervous.  Must be a Virgo thing LOL.

Glad to hear that you are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  You are on the right track, just stay there until it is over and all will be well [:)].
