Who is the best out there? What do you think is the smoothest drawing, concealable pancake holster? Stay tuned for the poll...

Sullivans Holster Shop in Tampa Florida. They also make all of the sheaths for the Randall Knife Company. My .02

Yup, me too, no Alessi category, no vote. Karl.

Yeah, sorry. I ran out of poll options, and I hadn't thought of Alessi at the time. I'm in the market for a new holster for my Glock 19. I use a Galco Concealable, but I can't get the damn thing broken in, and it's been a year and a half of pretty decent use! I have this same holster for my Kimber Compact, and it only took a month. What gives? I've tried the plastic bag trick, and silicone. Any other suggestions?

OWB. Something similar to the Galco Concealable.

No vote here either. Kramer Leather

Kramer is the best Horsehide holster maker. Mitch Rosen is the best cow hide holster maker. Blade-Tec is the best kydex holster maker. Just about anything by Bianchi, Galco, Desantis, Tex Shoemakers, Uncle mikes, or Fobus is second rate crap. Yes, I'm a gunleather snob.

Milt Sparks is tops in my book, everything he makes it quality, but my only gripe is the wait time, 12-16 weeks gets a little tough when you are trying to switch CCW options. Prices are high, but damn worth it. Someone else to watch would be High Noon Holsters out of Florida, I ordered some leather last week from them, and it is supposed to be here this week. I can give a report if nessary

Mitch Rosen makes some beautiful stuff but Milt Sparks gets my vote based on overall quality and cost balance. Try the Executives Companion if you're looking for a good strong side IWB.

HEY MAN! WHERE'S THE FREAKIN' KYDEX??? Seriously, I've blown a lot of money on holsters, and the best without a doubt in terms of fit (as in the gun stays in the holster until you want it), function (as in speed of draw), and durability (as in water/sweatproof) are made in the USA by this guy right here.
