Wargames. After watching that, i knew my destiny as a computer geek.

And it spawned a new term, wardialing. What other movie has brought a new word to the english language?

I voted War Games because it was both realistic & profetic in the usage of computers.
But for me, the most entertaining computer geek movie is Tron. Matrix (the first one) is a close second.
Also, a lot of us computer geeks like Star Trek movies as well.
I think Star Trek (the original series & movies) was a big reason a lot of people went into high tech jobs. And why we have some of the technology we have now.
Phaser = taser
Communicator = cell phone
LCARs = touch screen technology & better computers
Tricorder = handheld medical & wireless devices

I put that in as a gag option!  That's like voting Hi-Point in a "Best Manufacturing Quality" poll!

How is that a "Computer-Geek" movie?

It is, though, a frackin' awesome movie and unfortunately becoming the living biography of my life

I always saw Falling Down as a "geek" movie (not any particular type), to unite geeks of all types.  I was an engineering student as an undergrad and the movie resonated with me on the basis of Michael Douglas's job.  Perhaps you are right that it doesn't fall squarely into the category of "computer geek" movie.

I spent the early years of my life trying to figure out how I could use a computer to make a young Kelly LeBrock appear in my shower.

As broken and disappointed man only succeeding in failure, I must admit with today's technology it simply can't be done.

Good  point.   I'm told that the 4th Die Hard movie has some "hacker" moments.
