Berkeley PD, in an effort to be as supportive as possible for you to engage in violent protest, asks organizers if they would like officers to conduct "symbolic arrests". Just got to tell them where and when...and don't forget to give the news media the same info!

| That's a standard thing out here at demos. We usually try to contact the protest organizer and ask if there are any folks blocking the road, street, bridge, etc. that want to be arrested. They'll usually give you a number and point them out. So, then we give the riot order, or dispersal order and then individually order them to move or we will arrest them and then they get arrested, cited and released. It's all kabuki theater. Lots of old hippy types, those old hags in pink, and labor leaders + radical politicians do this. It gives them street cred. |

All they do if cuff them write a summons and release you 9 times out of 10they don't even book them. I know if fights start breaking out LE should have went in hard like they failed to do in Berkeley last week. You know the Berkeley Mayor had to have told the Chief to stand down his officers. He was hopping the commies put the hurt on the MAGA crowed...whom had a permit to hold the rally from what I know. The commies failed to get a permit to counter demonstrate (riot) because they don't have to since the city is backing them. I would love for them to try this stuff in a city, state that is not run by democrats. |
