How does that compare to the plain Breakfast Stout? I wanted to like that one, I just couldn't. IMO they are night and day. The KBS is barrel aged which gives it a more complex flavor and the ABV is definitely higher. There is a reason the KBS is a highly sought after beer.I have some regular breakfast stout in the fridge and will drink it from time to time. |

Overrated. Not worth the hassle of getting your hands on it. Have you ever had some that was not fresh? I am out of my older stuff but give it another few years in the bottle and I swear it gets much better. Drank some 2011 the other night and it was incredible. |

Here's my basic build. Just finished it Wednesday. Heading up north tomorrow to try it out. First and only AR I own so far. Did buy a second upper though and 13 mags to go with it. https://s31.postimg.org/nkui4vviz/20160715_205347.jpg Nice looking stick!

Some magpul furniture. Fucked up though and accidentally ordered the gray rear sight instead of black.

To celebrate another build, I will drink one of my Founders KBS. The Rifle is a PSA Melonite Mid-Length upper and a basic PSA lower build kit with the Magpul MOE SL stock and grip all on an Anderson receiver. I will test fire it tomorrow. The beer is a 2016 Founder's KBS (Kentucky Breakfast Stout). It is one of my absolute favorites. This year it came in at a whopping 12.4% ABV. After tonight I will only have 3 bottles left http://www.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=90182 You sir, are a man of exceptional taste. Congrats, mrkma. Well done. |

I love the KBS. Good stuff, but pricey and hard to get.
My go to stout is local to me, Lakewood The Temptress. 9.1% Been on a bit of a porter kick lately though... Porters and brown ale. Maybe I'll celebrate next Friday's M4gery build/paint party with a good stout..... |
