Started out laughing my ass off. This is definitely Billy Bob's calling... playing the low-life piece of shit drunk asshole. He does it so well.

I probably saw the original one from 1976 when I was a kid but I don't remember it so I don't know how this compares to the original. But this one was good for a laugh. It dragged a little by the end but it was still a fun watch. Glad I didn't pay to see it in the theaters, but as a rent I'd say it's worth it.

Would have been much better had Billy Bob been allowed to push the envelope (ala Bad Santa).

Throw in a few fucks and some titties and it would have rocked.
