Well, JUST TODAY I went to the funeral of a woman who did lose her son in Afghanistan Aug 11, 2005.. And she wasn't Cindy Shehan attention whoring. In fact, the whole service, with full military honors, was a celebration of the young man's bravery. No one prouder than that Sgt's mother |

No, I don't know what it's like to lose a child, and I hope I never will. But I CAN tell you that I wouldn't dishonor the memory of my child by being a complete asshat like this Sheehan woman is doing. Her son volunteered to serve. He knew the risks of serving, but he did it anyway. Dishonoring his memory is the WRONG thing to do. Grieve, and celebrate his life, and his accomplishments. |

If I lost one of my sons ina war that I did not agree with under a president I hated, I would not dishonor my child. I would see my child as the hero they are and honor them as such. |

If one of the mothers of the 19 fallen servicemen in Somalia had protested againt Klinton, they wouldn't have one camera, or reporter within 50 miles of the event.
