I was called for jury duty and there were two cases they were trying to form a jury for. One was for a man accused of child rape and a slew of other child abuse charges. I was on the other side of the room and would not be a part of that jury pool. As they read the charges aloud for the man accused of child rape the entire room seemed to have the air sucked out of it. People were staring in disbelief at the man sitting in front of us that was accused of this. Women started crying. Men looked on in anger. I think they got three jurors out of a room of nearly 100 people and that was the THIRD day of trying to get a jury for this guy. If provable the crime is disgusting and worse yet if Joe was aware of it we've already mentioned this is Joe Paterno type behavior out of the former VP of the United States. But, as Cincinnatus has stated, the financial ties are extremely important and more likely to result in Joe being charged with something...if we had a functional LE organization willing to take action. Even publicly that information should piss off just about anyone. |
