IIRC many big LEA's reach out to social media and give them a heads up regarding accounts of victims and suspects in high profile cases before publically releasing info. If you've ever wondered why some accounts get disappeared in near real time, this is why.
I could certainly see that resulting in putting a "team blue" narrative team being put in motion, slapping a cookie cutter framework up and filling in names and pics. I seem to recall a similar smear effort that went after Assange when those wiki leak Hildog emails dropped. |
