just saw on the 1AD website 1BDE 1AD is heading back....good luck and God speed.

Former A Co 3-12 IN here, I think 3-12 was reflagged to 1-6.

Used to tell the rad cabbie "Tango 2, bitte" to get home, no matter where you were.

Is the swasticka still on the messhall wall, was in 93.

I went down there with 1-94FA in 03. I lived in Idar-Oberstein though, so I'm not sure about the swasticka. I ate in 2 different DFACs there once or twice and don't remember seeing one.

I spent a bit of time at Baumholder in '00 training with 1-6 Infantry in preparation for KFOR 2B. I don't remember any swastikas but I do remember them putting us up in some barracks that had been declared unfit to live in

I stayed in the barracks coming out of the messhall to the right above the motorpool.
