I went down there with 1-94FA in 03. I lived in Idar-Oberstein though, so I'm not sure about the swasticka. I ate in 2 different DFACs there once or twice and don't remember seeing one.

I spent a bit of time at Baumholder in '00 training with 1-6 Infantry in preparation for KFOR 2B. I don't remember any swastikas but I do remember them putting us up in some barracks that had been declared unfit to live in

I stayed in the barracks coming out of the messhall to the right above the motorpool.
