| I am trying to set up to copy LPs to CDs. Is there a decent software program to do this with. The software I am using now makes me record tracks one at a time. I'm looking for something that would either allow me to look look at the music sound files to cut it up or something that would automatically separate the tracks. TIA |
| I am not sure what you want to do. Are you digitizing LPs, and then transferring the content to CDs right. I've done a few, and I have some some audiophile LPs such as Mobile Fidelity, Nautilus, CBS Masterworks etc. Personally, I would just go out and buy the current issue CDs if they are available, they are "head and shoulders above" even my ancient audiophile LPs in terms of sound quality., and be done with it. Now if the LP is not available on CD, now that is horse of a different color. |

I'm a cheap SOB that looks at the 300+ LPs and thinks I wouldn't mind listening to them again but not sure I would pay for that music. I'm not necessarily planning on burning them all to CD. I just want to be able to make MP3 files & break up the tracks so its not one large song. |
