I searched and found them mentioned last year a few times, but not a lot of info. They just released a 3 position FRT that uses a selector switch for about $200. Looks interesting, and I am not huge fan of cross bolt safety, so the selector switch is very appealing. Instagram showing videos. https://atrius.dev/ |

| That's interesting because it looks like a super safety only with a traditional style selector switch instead of the push button. This will please all those who dislike the push button design. You can be sure Rare breed will go hard after these guys because those are the only people who'll likely buy the Rare Breed's product and this will be a serious threat to them. |

Rare breed has been sending stuff to every frt maker stating that need to stop selling any and all types of frt triggers or they will sue them. Including the super safety which is 100% a different design. They are basing this off the simple statement is their patent covers any type of frt device no matter how it works. Basically they will license their design to others to make, but are willing to sue anyone one else to corner the market by law fair. If it is an frt of any type they will threaten to sue you if you make or sell one. @Diamond2J EDIT TO ADD read the link to the legal fund in the post above mine, it shows how far they are trying to go. AKA they cant even sell the jig for cutting an AR trigger to work with the SS |

Patent Trolling is buying up patents then using them to sue everyone, without ever making a product yourself. RB has a product and a patent. They are claiming to own the patent on ANYTHING and EVERYTHING FRT related, basically claiming ownership of a end result instead of the mechanism to achieve the end result. Its one thing to own a patent on a specific type of door hinge to open a door, its another to try and claim you own the patent on opening a door regardless of how its achieved. The Super Safety is an entirely different design from the rare Breed FRT, and the Rare Breed patent would undoubtedly not hold up in a actual copyright infringement trial but they are using the threat of giant legal expenses to fight it in courts to deter any competition with different unique designs. So its asinine that anyone is trying to defend Rare Breed basically doing to other companies what the government did to them. Im glad Rare Breed won their case against the government, its a big win and I admire them for fighting. I am also mad at Rare Breed for being fuckass patent trolls. Both things can be true |

I got one this release. He said it *should* work with larue but I’ll find something. When the geissele comes out I’ll be getting 4. I already have 2 az regulators. I like that those are drop in no mod and easy to remove. My first gen dropped in my g$ 16” no mods and smooth, so I got one to sit on. I really like this design giving you the option of happy switch or straight semi. Either way, we’re winning |

Rarebreed probably could have won folks over with taking an approach of We spent a lot of money defending this product and we want to be profitable. To do that we have to actively protect our patent or we lose claim to it and nothing would prevent the market from being flooded by low cost/overseas manufactured clones that would under cut our sales. We believe your product violates our patent but we are willing to license use rights to US companies that make quality products, here in the US, and support pro second amendment advocacy. To save both you and us the headache and costs of litigation contact us to work out a licensing agreement by April 15 or we will have to consider a more formal path of issuing a cease and desist letter and pursing formal civil action. He was a hero. I really believe that. He enlisted himself in war for your firearm rights, and he took it hard to the face for it. The fact that he made 40 million dollars off it aside, still was a hero. But...then...at some point...after effectively becoming a POW...he made a deal with his captors to help control everyone else they want to have out of the picture in exchange for him going back into business. That is literally in their settlement agreement. Maybe he has been suing everyone under the sun with an FRT device, no matter how dissimilar it is to his, because that was how he got his business back from the .gov...a promise to destroy other FRT manufacturers and effectively become controlled opposition. Or maybe he really believes he should have a monopoly on FRT devices, including ones that predate his (the super safety) or are completely unrelated to his. Either way...he started out a hero...then went all Bowie Bergdahl on us. Not ok. No amount of early heroism excuses becoming the one who profits off a deal to become the prison camp guard directed bully so that they can deal with undesirables without having to take the direct blame. |

The halves are connected rigidly and the step pushing the free floating reset lever is on the left side. Pics clearly show crenellated type engagement locking the halves and divots for the 3 detent points at 90° increments. The lack of left hand control may have been an oversight but I prefer the idea they were just being proactive in screening out lefties as much as possible. Pics |
