Work there on occasion. I stay across the river in Indiana.

That's a target rich environment. There's 2 large indoor malls, a large outdoor mall, and several smaller strip malls in that area. I'm surprised it took this long for the shitheads to act out.

"There has been no confirmation of shots in the mall, although some were reported."
A few years back in the city near where I live, the only remaining viable shopping mall had gangsta thugs taking shots at women and kids in the parking lot around Christmas time. The democratic scum who run city government and also the local news rag went into overdrive to suppress the story, so as not to scare all the soccer moms away from one of the last attractions in the city that produces tax revenue for it. I have it on good authority that all the above is true though. The only other big mall in that city went belly up about ten years ago and had to be torn down, when law abiding shoppers no longer felt safe going there. |

reported.
2minkey call out thread. Surprising lack of videos on liveleak and youtube. I guess the mall has no cameras installed. we must assume the Mennonites were upset at the commercialization of the holiday season. |

I can't help but wonder how many of the shoppers and store owners helped vote in the people who set things like this in motion?

It's always funny when the chickens come home to roost, and people get what they asked for and find out they don't like it so much. Seen it many times, and expect to see it a lot more in the coming years. |

Big box stores close to the interstate systems have put a lot of pressure on malls everywhere. Malls are struggling as it is. Add in the additional stress of people with disposable income not wanting to venture out to the malls because they have become rallying points for trouble makers and you will start seeing more and more empty stores. Too much of this stuff lately, when they can't hide the ugly truth and are forced to report it.
Blame this on a form of domestic terrorism that nobody will dare talk about. |

Spoiled kids get their allowance cut off and disciplinary action. Just sayin.

Until they are dealt with in an 'unforgiving manner', this shit isn't going to stop. |

"Called in extra TARC buses to make sure everybody got out"......LOL
I wish the damn city would fucking burn the TARC buses and quit the stupid program! "Oh you want to go out to the mall from the ghetto? How about get a fucking job and pay to get out there?" |

Had to move back to Ohio for work from Louisville almost 2 years ago, St. Matthews is a very nice area and the mall is really really nice. Sucks that they were forced to allow those buses to come through there. As usual this brings in the filth and brings down a neighborhood.

A brawl broke out Christmas Eve at the mall closest to where I live - which, I'm pleased to say, is about an hour away - prompting early closure. It used to be a nice place to kill an hour or two shopping and people watching, but I generally avoid it now, particularly from mid-afternoon on, and I wouldn't go there after dark without a couple of sideboys.

lol. Typical behavior that is encouraged by forbidding a candid discussion of exactly why it happens. <shrug>

I should add that St. Matthew is a pretty affluent area.. who recently had a public transit bus route forced on them.. View Quote About 20 years ago (and God, it might even be 30 now), there was a huge political battle in some place like Milwaukee (IIRC) over this exact issue. There was a new shopping mall constructed in an affluent area with no public transit bus lines running to it, and when the transit authority added a line from the inner city to where the mall was, things got ugly. CBS Propaganda ran a segment on "60 Minutes" about it at the time, and basically accused all the people against the bus route of being members of the KKK. |

View Quote what is funny is the whole reason for the TARC expansion was because of the "food deserts" created in the West end when all the stores there pulled up and left because of this exact bull shit. You think they would connect the dots and learn but nooooope. Who knew when yutes come in rob, loot and fight your paying customers, the paying customers go somewhere else. |
