There's a gunman holding at leat 8 people hostage on the 18th floor of The National Labor Relations highrise building in down town Phoenix right now.

Apparently it's been going on since about 4:00pm today. I saw news helicopters hovering over the building when I cam home from work about 6:00pm . I just watched the news, there isn't much information still at this point (9:00pm here).

Will update when I know anything else.

The hostage taker is a white guy from Chandler.
