Various food can be a trigger for migraines, so it could be that way for regular headaches. |

Read up on migraines. Find your triggers, and stay away from them.

Red peppers can dilate your blood vessels...that could (maybe) cause a headache.
eta After a cursory check of google it seems that red pepper is being used as a treatment for headaches, so maybe no. |

Exactly. I am dumbfounded how everyone else says it cures headaches, yet for me, it causes them. No big deal, I can just avoid them (mostly) but it is very curious. |
