| Hello all I know the slide fire stocks are a waste of ammo and money but is it bad on the rifle as well? |

Other than increased heat from faster rate of fire it shouldn't cause abnormal wear on your rifle. Definitely does help anything though.... the slide fire is an abomination I just ordered one. Looks like fun to me. As to OP - it seems no more harmful than rapid fire would be on a rifle. |

I don't like them because on the East Coast (without vast areas of shootable land) they tend to attract too much range closing asshattery. Some people can control things like that well, but most will be all over and send rounds over the berm (at rifle ranges). This being said, I think it would be fun on a suppressed .22lr, but I doubt it'd work there. |

I can see that in some ways. That is why I am constantly pushing my prone bumpfire threads. These things can be practical....seriously. It's quite accurate, and would actually be hard to send rounds over any berms unless you WANTED too. |

My brother bought one. Was horrible. Had no fun with it at all. I wasted a lot of ammo.

I am seriously thinking of doing a HEAVY BHAR type build on a m60 bipod or versa pod both modified to fit on a freefloat tube. the weight should help with recoil,

The reason it is like you see, is that I already had all the dissipator parts and that barrel from a previous build. The TRX Extreme does have a certain 1919ish look. |

Yeah the haters are right, that doesn't look fun at all. |

Yes, full auto fire is tough on barrels. |
