I wish my upstairs neighbors would get evicted, fuckers stomp around all night. I've got half a dozen complaints against them.

I've seen that happen before. As soon as the constable leaves, it's like flies on shit. Soon nothing left but rags, broken toys, and misc. plastic cups & Tupperware lids.

In Texas the courts recognize that you as the property owner have rights and they are held higher than the individual who is taking away your rights. The quickest I have evicted someone to the curb is 17 days.
Sure you have to go to court; but it is relatively inexpensive, say $300 by the time it is all said and done. A Constible will meet you at the property and keep the peace while you empty the house of all personal effects. You have no duty of care to the personal effects. You place them on the curb; and after 24 hours you can dispose of them as trash. The truth be told most all of the stuff disappears before morning. If you are a free loader, you should of packed up your stuff and hit the bricks before your court date. Just about everyone does; only the slow learners and out of state free loaders wait until the Constible shows up. |
