Momentum has shifted against Obamacare - the majority doesn't support it and people are screaming at their elected reps in town hall meetings nationwide.
Momentum has shifted against Obama - people (even those who voted for him!) are waking up and starting to realize what we knew all along - false promises, lies upon lies, and a Messiah-complex that holds no water (never mind incapable of walking on it). This "emperor" has no clothes. Momentum has shifted against gun control - the front page of USA Today papers has an article on more and more people demanding concealed carry rights due to an uncertain and untrusted government, economy, and future. Momentum has shifted against the liberal puppet masters - they're spending more time, energy and (most importantly) money fighting all the above, and attempting to continually perpetuate the lie that they are in control of their own party and know what is happening. Hell, as a desperate last resort they've even resurrected the old "Blame Bush" mantra to limited or no avail. Momentum has shifted against the very people, organizations and ideas that I've continually opposed - for once in a great while, I'm starting to believe that I have not, in fact, been crazy all this time. The kind of realization that not only makes me smile, but even causes an entertained laugh every now and then. Burn baby, burn; the truth is coming out! _MaH |

Wrong. Fail.
The Obama News Networks will spend August lulling the public back to sleep. America will again become distracted with another issue. The Amateur and his entourage will continue ass-raping Americans and we'll hardly raise a collective whimper. Thank goodness we kept our focus during the elections on slandering Palin and repeating lies and inaccuracies about her. Imagine how bad it would be if she was president, oops, vice president. |

I hope you're right. If you only get your updates from Drudge, FoxNews, and arfcom, it seems like things are changing.
I hope the tide is turning. The average sheep still has their love affair with hiim going, though. He still has the media in his pocket. Keep working. |

I still think we will wake up one Monday morning in Sept or Oct to find those SOB's passed it, and Obastard signed it, in the middle of the night. |
| Your entire post is based on the premise that the Democrats care what voters think. They'll blithely pass this thing any way they can without a care in the world for what the electorate thinks. Looks at the polling on the issue - it's so overwhelmingly AGAINST healthcare that no one who is even remotely honest about representing his constituents could support it, yet all Democrats in the Senate and a majority in the House do. It's just another case of legislators believing the rubes back in their districts don't know what's good for them... but by God they're gonna get it, anyway. |

I do think that if they go the fuck it we know whats good for you route and give us obama care over our objections, there will be a huge turnover in the 2010 elections. |
