Secret Service sometimes wear plain clothes...

I've seen ICE agents come into where I work wearing plain clothes. Some CBP Officers do plain clothes under cover work. Air Marshals work completely plain clothes.

You have to understand who all falls under DHS which include Boarder Patrol Agents, Customs and Boarder Protection Officers, ICE, Coast Guard, TSA, U.S. Secret Services...so there people that work under DHS on this board (I'm not one of them), but without knowing which specific agency you are looking at the answers to your questions will probably vary.

My gf does but not in that capacity however she knows those types and may be able help.
