I don't drink Mexican beer often, but when I do, it's usually Pacifico Clara or Sol. Tonight it's Sol, and it is indeed some smooth sipping brew.

I don't mind Pacifico.

As long as I have a lemon wedge to kill the germs under the cap.
Because that's the real reason a lemon wedge is used for Mexican bottled beer.

Dos Equis, fuck yeah. Had it on tap down in Playacar at our resort...the other resorts in the area had it as well.

That's the only one worth drinking the rest are cheap corn brews.

Corona smells just like corn flakes.
But, they painted the bottle so it must be good.

Hint - if your beer needs a lime its horse piss.

I too like sol but in Mexico it's what the homeless people drink. I prefer modelo, pacifico, and during the summer corona light.

I like Bohemia and that is what I always drank in Mexican restaurants, but Oregon Mexican restaurants are so f~king bad that I don't eat at Mexican restaurants any longer.

Yes but understand ‘Mexican beers’ are largely European style lagers. My favorite is Modelo Leon which is a Munich Dunkel style; Negra Modelo (same style,) is close. Bohemia is a solid German Pilsner and Pacifico is a good light lager (Helles.)

Dos XX, Corona, etc are just fucking nasty.

There's a Jar store down the street that stocks Jamaican Red Stripe.
They sell a bunch of it in the Winter to folks coming back from there from vacation.

It's pretty good too !

Yep. they make some good drinkable beer. Sol and Pacifico are the best beers for drinking during the summer months or anytime I am having chips and salsa.

That is the beer that I learned to chug with.

I remember a Benny Hill sketch when he pounded down several pint mugs in succession.

I can dump a whole pint mug now.
