I have an older Compaq Presario that has XP Home installed on it. I wanted to use the Microsoft Access Snapshot Viewer on Office Tools, but don't have the CD requested to install the program. I do however have a complete set of XP Office Pro installation CD's that came with a Dell laptop that I use to own, but no longer have. Can I use these Dell CD's to do the installation?

yes, there is no reason why you can't

If I were to do that, should I then completely uninstall Microsoft XP Home, and then install the entire three CD set of XP Pro?

Microsoft XP home is the operating system you are using; it has nothing to do with the version of office. Unless I am mistaken, office versions come in standard and professional editions. If you uninstall the current version of office you have on the Presario and install Office XP pro with all options you should be OK.
