I'm not sure if a lot of the android users and "other" smartphone users know about these codes and how they work. I've gotten a few comments about my avatar and figured I'd explain it. A little over view about them: Here's a site that you can create them in different ways. For example this is ARFCOM. Scanning this will direct you're phone to this site. If you want to make one with text just switch to the text option and get the direct link. Then you can post it like a pic in the forum editor. If you are posting about a specific app all you need to do is copy and paste the link to the app in the generator under the url spot. For example the google maps app can be found at this link. market://search?q=pname:com.google.android.apps.maps By entering it into the QR generator a quick barcode scan will bring youre phone directly to the app in market. |
