I installed it yesterday on Nexus 5. Some changes to get used to but overall I like it. Today will be the first full day so I will see if it does anything positive or negative to the battery. So far nothing is broken. Was pretty easy.
I guess "it just works" |

Quoted: was it an OTA update? Quoted: Quoted: Updated my Nexus 10, got stuck in a boot loop that resulted in my having to factory reset. I'm gonna flash the 5.0 ROM to the thing tonight. Right now my first impressions of 5 are slightly less than stellar ![]() was it an OTA update? |

I updated my Nexus 4 to 5.0 and I think it's a good update overall. It took forever to install and configure all the apps though. I like the slick look and the battery life has improved for me. I'm still getting used to swiping up to unlock the screen instead of sideways. I keep opening the phone tab. |

CyanogenMod is busy incorporating Lollipop in its newest iteration. I'm running KitKat 4.4.4 on my Galaxy S3. If I had stayed with the stock Samsung updates, I would still be stuck on Jellybean, as they stopped supporting OS updates for the S3.
I'll be surprised if Lollipop will be able to run on my phone, but I'm willing to give it a shot. I can always revert back to KitKat. Cyanogen runs everything I want without that damned TouchWiz bloatware. The only thing I miss is the Samsung predictive text, although I work around that with AIType. |
