But of course,... it's not.... It's Detroit on New Years Eve.
http://statter911.com/2012/01/04/must-see-video-detroit-ambulance-breaks-down-in-the-middle-of-new-years-gunfire/ Seriously, it sounds like a warzone there.... God Bless those EMTs. |

Quoted: That reporter is something else! He resembles Sean Penn to me... Is it just me? |

That reporter is something else! He could be transported back to 1973 and start reporting without missing a beat. The hair is crazy. |
|
Quoted: Mother of God!! That sounds like a war zone That sounded kinda mild compared to a few of my new years celebrations |
|
Quoted: That reporter is something else! I think he's Canadian. |
|
My only gripe is the reporter calling it "automatic gunfire" when it was clearly semi-auto...fail ass reporters.

At first you think "Well, he's out in the wind and snow, I guess that explains it." And then you see him in the studio and it's worse! Plus, he seems like the kind of guy that would start a fight during an interview. Good stuff. |

I played the inner city EMS game for a few years on the east coast. Good times.
Soooo glad I left. |
|
Typical reporter saying there was automatic gunfire. I didn't hear any.
The residents of Detroit are the problem and they are the ones that vote for corrupt politicians. The media won't say this though. |
|
My wife and I were in downtown Detroit at a bluegrass concert on the 30th of Dec.
We left early, because I was starting to get that feeling that staying past 11 PM would be dangerous. I don't go into that city unless I have to, and even then I go armed. |
|
It sounds like a war zone because it is a war zone. Driver summed it all up in a couple words 'nobody cares'.
Edit - I should add, i miss my hometown but still glad I left. |

That is ridiculous. I'm glad I live in MT.
EDIT: I am surprised no one tried to overtake the gut buggy. That being a medic unit there are a lot of drugs on board that people would love to get a hold of. Those guys are lucky. |

That reporter is something else! Treu. Looks like it is time for OCP to step up and bring a game changer to ol' Detroit. |
|
Quoted: I'm pretty sure that's about ANY large metropolis (Short of the East coast) on a new years night. Back in the 70's when we lived in LA new years wasn't completeFAKE That can't be in the USA without my brothers and I doing "clip dumps" out of our Dad's M1 and pistols (We shot into the ground) and it always sounded like everyone else was busy doing the same thing in our neighborhood. |
|
Quoted: That reporter is something else! I swear to god I think I've met him at an Narcotics Anonymous meeting before! Speed |
|
I was working new years eve, we had a call around midnight. That video is spot on.
|
|
He said "the City is burning" too and it looked like there was a glow. Did they set buildings on fire for fun again?

The reporter says Detroit deserves better than what it's got. I don't see how.

It sounds the same out here. Someone was even launching artillery simulators.

That was interesting Then I had to cope with 3 months of psych patients that saw obama as jesus. Had one tell me I couldn't restrain him because he was black and he would call up his buddy barack and have me deported. I called up my buddy ativan and we rocked him the F out. |

I've driven through Detroit in broad daylight, and I am astounded as to the number of brand spanking new Cadillacs with 30" or larger bling bling dubz in decrepit neighborhoods. |
