For thinking people people who get all worked up over Terri Shrivo and the Pope dieing are stupid dipshits. I mean, with all our young men and women dieing overseas for our freedom I don't think a woman whos practically been dead for fifteen years and the Pope who's eighty something, who's lived a good long life should get so many people so damn worked up.![]()

Personally I don't think the pope is any better than anyone else. He is a man and we are equal right.... As for the girl, I think the idea is wrong, but it happens everyday, she is no different than the others. I am glad I don't have to fill anyone's shoes related to the whole deal. |
| no your not, people are not getting work up about the death nothing wrong to mourn them. I can see why so many mourn the pope but not TS noone even knew of her before she took over the news, Its sad but nothing to get crazy about. People get all worked up and in a rage about all the needless publicity and the politics surrounding the death. |
Well said....and I completely agree. The media feeds the story, people get all bunched up over it. The suffering and death that doesn't make the headlines is invisible, often MUCH worse and largely goes without any sort of fuss. Pope dead. Sad? No. He was old. Lived a good life. He died. The end. Not sad at all. Schaivo. Dead. Sad? No. IMO she's better off. Sad for her family...I didn't know her. I also have personal experiences that make the Pope & Schaivo's situation look like a walk in the park. |
No offense, but I am a Catholic and never worshipped the Pope. I saw him exactly as he was...a good man doing great things to benefit all. Also not picking a fight, just stating my opinion. |
