Ok so I recieved a few boxes of federal M193 today but I don't load up with it yet because I am paranoid that i might have a bad batch of duds.
so what I will do is go to the range and take 3 random rounds out of each box and if they work (which they always do) I will load up with them.

should I just trust the ammo?

does anyone else do it?

What lot? There were a few lots that weren't sealed too well, and moisture was able to get into the powder. Unless you are storing your ammo in a damp spot, those lots wll be fine.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. My lot 8 stuff runs like a champ.

Just to be safe I think you should go and test fire all of those XM193 rounds before you rely on them to save your life.[:D]

that would be ideal, because you never can be too sure.
