Dear Ar15.com,
In this thread we will air our complaints about the military, veterans, the public's mistreatment of veterans or politics that affect either of the three within the limits of the CoC. There are too many threads in GD with alot of of negative miltary and veteran sentiment as well as alot of talk about real American ideals versus revisionistic American ideals. I got it, we all have different opinions, that's cool. The thing is that tomorrow is an important day for many of us, and while these threads are draining on most days, they will cut a little deeper wth some members on Memorial Day. I know they will for me.If you have a comment for another thread, post it here, believe me noone will know the difference; if you have a topic post it here instead of starting a new thread. Hell, just talk shit to me, I'll be the resident veteran punching bag. Anyway here I am, all by my lonesome. Come at me, Bro. |

A question for you guys. Why is memorial day in May? Here its November 11 and started in WW1. Did yours start a different time? Because we're Americans and do what we want. In 1968 Congress combined four holidays under the Uniform Holiday Act to make a more streamlined national holiday. That day is now the last monday in May. |

No offense to the military chicks on this site ![]() I found that the Aussies have the hottest women in an uniformed military. I took a spin class downrange just to sit behind a big tittied, pony tailed blond on a bike. It was great I shot shit during the day, and stared at titties for an hour afterword. Ours started just after the American Civil war to commemorate the fallen Union soldiers of the Civil War. Thanks, I always wondered about the history behind it. I hope you guys have a great Memorial Day weekend. |

goddamit. Really!?? OP. Can this shit Not today or this weekend. Don't encourage the bashing Eta. Thanks for your service. You're right. That's why I'm here. It will happen with or without me. Better here than in another random thread. I haven't been in those threads. I don't want to be banned. |

I say use this thread to vent (within the limits of the CoC). Let it all go, unburden ourselves of the anger, pain, hurt and frustration. Remember the fun, the good times and most of all your brothers in arms. Tonight at midnight, lock it up and delete it. Let it never be a burden on our minds, memories or this site again.
To all who have served, sacrificed and carried the burden and honor of the uniform, thank you. For those that bear the physical and emotional scars of battle or left friends on the fields of valor, my prayers for healing are with you today and always.

The existence of a thread like this is further evidence that this site is nothing like it was when I joined almost 10 years ago. I think that everyday. It's how it is though, everything changes. Anyway, I'm looking at old deployment pictures right now. Crazy how young and cocky I looked just seven years ago. Rest in peace, brothers. |

It is my country, full of true love of liberty. Long may Bonnie Blue wave. Hell, we've both went longer between showers than West Florida survived. |

My only gripes are with the asshat public and scumbag politicians.
Our vets, those who are currently serving, and especially those who are in harms way and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice so I could be typing this, have my utmost gratitude.
PS. I'm former Army, and well aware of the difference between Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Vets have my thanks every day. |
