Why? This is one of the media's go-to moves. For example the media had a field day running stories about supposed hate crimes committed against muslims in the aftermath of the Trumpening. Most of them were made up, but leave that aside for now. Assume they're true. We've also seen a rash of riots and of crimes committed against Trump supporters. By "seen" I mean "not reported by the media but there's youtube proof." Yet these don't count. The media has decided that they're non-crimes. In today's world you gain credibility by being a victim. The muslims someone supposedly looked at crossways are designated victims, yet the people who were set upon by the black bloc are not. |
