Why does Dr Pepper Cherry have absolutely no cherry flavor at all?

Cherry Coke , Cherry Pepsi, Cherry Sun Drop I can all taste the cherry, but, Dr Pepper no cherry flavor what so ever.

What gives?

Off spec DP gets sent out of state. Depending on what flavor is over represented determines what it is "sold" as.  Usually the cherry and vanilla flavors are the ones that go out of spec due to feed swings in the process.
