In case any of you are interested, you should check out this website. www.natural-rights.org . It is a group that is positioning to take Justice David Souter's Farmhouse on the premis of applying the Kelo v. City of New London decision from this past summer.
The group has a Warrant Article that will be coming up for town vote in March. It will be given to the Weare Voters to vote to take Justice Souter's House. The group is going door to door from now until March to get the word out to the residents. Local News Article

 I heard this on FNC this evening and got wood! Here ya go Your Honor, you voted for it, now have a piece of it!  This blog summarizes up the vote and the case. While I didnt read it close, realize it is a blog summation, subject to prespective. I wonder if he wishes he had went with Thomas & Scalia? Best story of '06!

This is great medicine for the fag momma's boy that lied his way onto the SC. If he had not turned out to be the commie lib he is, Alito would make it 5-4 to overturn Roe v. Wade, and all the other shit that needs fixing.

If he is going to be responsible for feeding a turd sandwich to the rest of the nation by completely invalidating their property rights, then he ought to have to take a big bite himself.
Having someone show up and take your property just because they want to and having government side with them simply because they might get more tax revenue sucks, eh your honor?? |

One of the basic characteristics of a free people is the right to own property.
That's why property taxes tick me off. You can pay off your house and have the deed locked away in your safe, but you don't really own it if you're in a state with property taxes. If you don't pay your annual rent to the feudal landlord (state/county), your property will be confiscated and sold to someone else. Thus, property tax means you never truly own your property, free and clear. I can see paying a sales tax when you buy something, but to be perpetually taxed just for owning it is just wrong. |
