As I'm sitting at home with my family, waiting for the turkey to be done, I get a phone call from a friend informing me that we both lost a mutual friend last week in Afghanistan. Definitely took the wind out of me and felt like getting punched in the stomach. For all of the servicemen and women who have sacrificed all to provide us with the freedoms that we enjoy in this country, THANK YOU. In memory of Alex; Happy Thanksgiving brother. Thank you for your service, your friendship and your sacrifice. Rest well Warrior.  Happy Thanksgiving to all of you ARFCOM. I hope we can put all of our religious and political differences aside just for one day and appreciate our families and where we live. Be safe... |
