I know most of us are all sick of hearing about them.  However I just got back from the Houston Pro-rodeo concert of Alabama.

Right before the concert started there was a small parade that happens each night with local public figures waving to all.  Tonight George Bush "41" was there and as he went around the arena he was welcomed with a standing ovation by the crowd of almost 60,000.

From Alabama about halfway through their concert they sang "America the Beautiful", then invited the audience to sing it back to them.  After that the lead singer made the comment that they were proud of George W. Bush and were proud that he was a Texan.  The crowd roared with approval.  With all the negative news publicity about the anit's, I thought you would like to hear about the support given tonight.

I just want the pro troop support to grow louder and louder. I'm tired of all the anti's making the noise.

Yeah I was at that show too.  Didn't you like how just prior to the show that country magazine was doing an ad on the big screens and they showed a magazine cover with the dixie chicks on it and everyone started booing.

From the Dixie Chicks with respect to statements being reported in the British media
3/12/2003

From the Dixie Chicks

"We've been overseas for several weeks and have been reading and following the news accounts of our governments' position. The anti-American sentiment that has unfolded here is astounding. While we support our troops, there is nothing more frightening than the notion of going to war with Iraq and the prospect of all the innocent lives that will be lost."

Maines further stated, "I feel the President is ignoring the opinions of many in the U.S. and alienating the rest of the world. My comments were made in frustration and one of the privileges of being an American is you are free to voice your own point of view."

Lets dissect and analyze this shall we??

"I feel the President is ignoring the opinions of many in the U.S. and alienating the rest of the world."

OK so we have a madman in Iraq posessing WMD and YOU want him to take peoples opinions in consideration???

OH SHIT!!! Why didnt I think of that?? I can see it now:

President Bush: Well I know that Saddam Hussein is a madman, has committed genocide on his people, he is a liar and a THREAT to the free world as we know it but HELL!!! The Dixie Chicks say we shouldnt go so... Hey Navy, Army, Marines and Air Force... Come on back home!"

Dixie Chick's lawyer and accountant are saying... "Holy shit, if they are THIS stupid, I might as well rob them blind now... because their source of income is going to dwindle FAST"
