I found these while going through some things. I had forgot about them. Took them to work and scanned them. Just thought I,d be brave and show a face. Yes that is a bandage on my trigger finger. If I remember correctly, it had something to do with the knife on my suspenders. No further comment. One will notice the M203 barrel is missing from the rifle. Was strapping my mag light (seen on the right) on the rifle where the 203 barrel usually goes. I loved that 203. Such a stress reliever on live fire days. |

No, I liked to keep my fart sack all to my self. [;)] I had my own little mosquito free arrangement. Only 1 problem though. See all that mud behind me? Well, During a not so friendly thunderstorm in the middle of the night one night, everything got very wet. Water was standing about an inch deep on the ground. The floor of my tent was sealed all the way around and up about 6 inches on the sides. Except for the one little hole I didnt know about on the floor under my sleeping bag. Nothing like waking up to a soaking wet military issue down sleeping bag. Soaked up about 30 gallons of water. Then, after hanging it out to dry on some consantina wire while I was out all day, some lovely mutant fire ants decided that they loved my bag. Spent about 3 nights with no sleeping bag.

Not that I recall, I ETS'd 10/2/92, so they pulled me out of there after only 2 weeks to pick up cigarette butts back at Benning. I Guess they didn't want me to get in trouble/hurt before I got out. |
