How hard is it? I've been meaning to study for it for a couple years now, but havent gotten around to it, between school and work.
Which certification would be best if I wanted to start in a Help Desk environment and move on to full IT from there?

A+ isn't that hard and is a good stepping stone. Help Desk will be a test of your patience and might drive you to drinking. But it is a stepping stone to better jobs.

I hadn't done shots in years but at my current helpdesk job we hit the bar down the road at least every couple fridays after work. once it gets warm it will probably be almost weekly since they have a nice patio
