My stepfather is a partner in Arthur Andersen, he runs about 1/4 of the company.
He worked so hard all his life and I hope this doesn't get him kicked out of the industry- this was not something that was in his control. radioman |

Maybe, but on a personal note, my stepfather was the best one could have. He pushed me HARD to do well in school- I hated him then, but I appreciate it now.

Anderson has a checkered past going back for over 20 years. I remember in the early 80's they were getting in trouble for faulty audits. You have to assume there are kickbacks flying around that place. They would fire a couple of accountants and then is was BAU. And their technology consulting side is not known for quality work either. All in all, not a company to be proud of.

These kinds of scumbag WILL pay sooner or later. In this morning newspaper, the people who have had 401(K) investing in Enron probably losing most or all theirs. |
