Isn't this bigger than .50 cal? If so how is it even legal???

Legal through sporting purposes IIRC

Anyone see the video of the guy lighting a .600 NE scoped pistol off?   It went STRAIGHT out of his hands and over his head.  Good thing he held it like a pansy, or else he'd have a hell of a fucking steel temor in his frontal lobe.

"I'll take FUCK THAT for a thousand, Alex"
There was a video of some clown lighting that off. It's a good thing he was holding it off to the side
because it flew out of his hand and landed out in the parking lot.

Some guy on another site apparently made a single shot .600 Nitro...

www.forums.nitroexpress.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=bigbores&Number=34889&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=31&fpart=1

Here's a massive pic...

And two videos...
(First one takes a while to load...)
(Slight language warning for work too.)

home.comcast.net/~kudoo3/John_shooting_600_nitro.MOV

home.comcast.net/~kudoo2/600_Nitro_lite_load_1040.MOV

I'm currently searching for more information, I'll post it if I can find it...

Yeah, it is kinda stupid, but c'mon!  It's frickin' huge and unwieldy and serves no purpose than for the builders and owners to say "damn right it's the most powerful revolver in the world!"
