Sounds like ole Ted has taken some lessons from his new Russian friends:

..CNN COO says layoffs "nothing material", but thousands of staffers were just told to get outta Dodge..{almost before sundown!}
...Hundreds were forced to sign 'releases' and severances.

....Security card-keys and IDs rapidly confiscated, after Sr staff changed passwords on the computers, cutting off fired employees from their file use, their e-mail, etc.

..some returning to their desks to find their phones already cut off.

Armed security guards standing watch as fired employees clean out their desks...then the guards 'escort' them to the exits.

..One fired on-air talking head in LA said.."I feel like a criminal.."

Remember just last week CNN COO said this merger is .."not about layoffs.."

Last yr, Ted Turner said it this way...."this merger will allow {AOL-TW} to be the most socially-conscious company ..on earth".

Yeah, right. Man, am I ever glad I got off A$$holesOnLine last year[:D]

To paraphrase Rush, Ted Turner is a communist, and communists can't be trusted.  

Ted is a died in the wool bolshevic, and bolshevics solve their problems with a bullet in the back of the head.  The CNN types can count themselves lucky.  Good thing Algore lost the election!  

fox news channel is really kicking cnn's ass.

i refuse to watch cnn or any network news.  they only infuriate me.

while fox does have plenty of beeding heart commies it also has plenty of good guys who blow the socks off the dorks.
