Good point, but how much money might there be in making compliant uppers or grandfathered parts kits? The market always finds a way.
As it stands now, Feinsteins 's bill has a grandfather clause. I think even the dems realize confiscation is very unlikely. They mostly want a legislative feather for their cap with as little tfouble as possible. The behind the scenes bans like the NFA option do nothing to mollify the segment of the public that i s screaming for a ban Does anyone remember the thread about the number of ARs sold since 04? It was a hjge number. |

I am all for disarming people, as long as you disarm the government and police too!
in all seriousness, lets say there was a near total ban (not going to happen but play along) would these companies be able to supply the authorities? I assume it would cost to much and there would be little profit, although I guess the goverment could just take over and do it themselves..... |
