| I was searching the net for an "affordable" .50 cal weapon. I came across one of those Ar-50 kits. Has anyone had any experiance with these. The fact you are firing a .50 bmg on an aluminum receiver held on buy 2 pins designed for a .223 sounds kinda sketchy. The website claims they fire time and time again without any problems. Just wondering if any one who has shot or owns one can give me some feedback. Thanks |

are you talking about the ferrett 50? i have seen 2. The first failed on the first shot. On the first i can say ferrett took care of it VERY quickly. For just a little more you can get a complete serbu. JMHO mike |
| Ya, I want one before the ban, LA county already placed a ban. The thing is I can't afford a $7k Barrett, although it would be nice. I just want something I could use to blast rocks with in the desert, or maybe blast some APC's in case of a Red Dawn situation [}:D] |

Lots of happy Ferret owners out there. Also the Watson's uppers are well respected in the 50BMG world. In "two weeks" the MMAG50, designed by the Great Serbu will be hitting the streets. A pretty economical way to get into shooting the fun stuff. You won't find another gun with such a great selection of fun ammo availible. |
