Has anyone ever seen an AR15 with a side folding stock?? I could have sworn I saw one before but it was a quick glance so I'm not sure. I thought maybe it had the same bolt action as the AR15 pistol so it didn't have the spring tube. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

The ZM upper used on an AR15 permits you to use a side folding stock since you do not need a recoil buffer.

Anybody ever own or shoot the olympic OA93 carbine with folding stock? Any good or bad stuff about'em?

Yeah baby!!! ZM's are great. After looking at the pics I just had to open the safe and hold my ZM.

Some old pre-ban bushmasters came from the factory with a black side folding stock. my buddy had one. The receiver was stainless or gray in color if I remember correctly. I'll have to see if I can find a pic.I remember it was a P.O.S though... John
