I got dragged out to the antique stores to spend some quality time with the wife today. I found this in one of the stores.

This article on the prototype AR-10 appeared in the March 1957 issue of GUNS magazine. There are cool photos of the different prtototype rifles with Gene Stoner himself posing.

Beautiful post.  This reminds me of an old magazine I have that illustrated Dome homes published at about the same time.  Eugene Stoner is the "Bucky Fuller of Small Arms".
