This probably has a ton of sampling error in Obama's favor as his constituents are more wired then McCains, nonetheless a 50 state blowout with 200k plus votes is... interesting. |
If E-Polls were accurate, Ron Paul would be President for life already.
Wait, what? I see McCain winning every state in that (clearly useless) poll.
Voted McCain.
Look at that comment count. I'm not stepping foot in there. The level of vitriol must be legendary.... |
+1. WTF? |
I think I've voted in that AOL poll in the last who knows how many they've had over the last few months, and McCain has been shown as winning (by a large margin) in each of them. Just voted and not the first time I've seen all States red.
So, not sure what the deal is there. |
I vote in these everytime.
McCain has won every state everytime, except one time about a month ago he won D.C. |
That's my point, Online gooberism is firmly in Obama's favor. This is a large break with that result and its confusing. |
What you are seeing is a very small sampling however it could be an indicator. We believe McCain won't win only because the media has rubber stamped Obama to become the next President. Problem is, I know people whom have always voted Democrat- will likely vote McCain. RR |
Could be the case that lots of people are starting to realize that the media is conspicuously pimping Obama's BS.
With that, Obama hype might be going on the down swing. Where are his latest fund raising stats? Is that because the contributions have gone down drastically? |
How does this poll show obama winning? I looked at it and it is similar to what tomislav has posted.
I don't get it, what result would you have it show?
Maybe I am missing something though? |
Ahhhh. Internets Hope For American. |
so, you're a socialist from jersey? |
I see what it is.
You have to enter an 8 digit code written in stupid swirly letters. Most Obama supporters will have lost interest by the time the get half way through that. |
An online straw poll a full 4 months before the election?
No way in hell are California, New York, Illinois, or New Jersey going for McCain. |
the same rasmussen who said obama had it in the bag and would not cover hillary's race- when hillary was still running and making a comeback? hmm they don't seem like they're pulling for him at all. |
Uh no. |
Obama - 33% w/ 109252 votes
McCain - 67% w/ 225792 votes North Dakota, Vermont, and District of Columbia showing in blue |
90% of obamas supporters probably dont have access to internet polls.
According to most polls taken around this time of the year Al Gore and John Kerry should have won in landslides. We're talking 60/40 in favor of these candidates. It's pretty telling that the biggest lead most of those polls can put together for Obama is only 3-5% points. Obama is going to lose BIG. |
because they're dead? |
It's a AOL poll...open to anyone not just AOL users FWIW I have been following this poll (which resets every week) if past results are indicative of accuracy...this poll was within 2-3 percentage points of the final results of the last two elections |
Is that the same Rasmussen report that had Kerry beating Bush by 12 points? |
They stamped Kerry too. The day before he was declared the winner in the exit polls by a nice margin in Presidential standards. He got his ass beat. |

http://www.pewinternet.org/PPF/r/8/press_release.asp # Gender, race, and ethnicity of those offline There is gender parity in the Internet population - 50% of those online are women and 50% are men. However, women still lag behind men in their relative participation in the online world. When it comes to race and ethnicity, whites are notably more likely to have Internet access than blacks or Hispanics. Still, there are striking similarities in the online and offline population once the economic situation of various groups is taken into account. # 54% of women do not have Internet access; 49% of men do not have access. # 50% of whites have access; 36% of blacks have access; 44% of Hispanics have access. # 78% of whites in households earning more than $75,000 are online; 79% of Hispanics in similar economic circumstances are online; and 69% of blacks in those types of households are online. # 68% of whites in households earning less than $30,000 are not online; 75% of blacks in similar households are not online; and 74% of Hispanics are not online. |

I will tell you right now, exit polling will show obama the winner, no matter what.
If he doesn't win, there will be whining and riots the likes of which we have never seen in our lifetime. |
As of today (5:47pm centeral time), that poll shows McCain with 67% of the vote, Osamabama with 33%.
McCain winning every state and DC. If the AOL poll is any indication of the way the actual vote will go, Jessie Jackson and the rest of the shit stirrers will be screaming "RACISM!!!" for years to come. They'll never admit that people simply chose the lesser socialist. |
Yeah and I've seen some on AOL where Ron paul was winning most states.
I don't think the polls are the most reliable way of who will win. The race will be much closer than that, and Obama will lose the majority of states. |
Someone spamed the shit out of the comments section with Obama B.S.
As of today,McCain is still winning all states.

Yep. The Bradley Effect. |
Actually, alot of Obama bashing in there. I found this gem on the first page:
They're too busy waiting on line for the welfare handouts. |
This needs to be looked at in depth... I dont know where he got it.. |
And that's why every magazine of every caliber I own will all be loaded come election day, including 8 round enbloc clips. I am serious about that. I fully expect there to be riots when he doesn't win. |
You do understand rounding error? Since they are only showing whole number percentages the differance is likely in the first decimal place. |
i don't think they will be able to successfully disturb the peace. whining is another story, expect full news coverage. |
yep, still won't stop them from voting for him though. TXL |
