Quoted:
Arsenal AKs are domestically produced. Looks like most of their current stuff is assembled from imported parts. However, some of their earlier products were American-made. ETA: Their SA M-7 and RPK Series still use domestic parts. Quite a few other companies have also used imported parts to assemble AKs domestically - Arsenal USA in Houston, Red Jacket, Draco, Krebs Custom, etc. |

Red Jacket Firearms makes US made AK's. It's from Lousiana and those Cajuns make good stuff.

Wait. Are we going for "US made" as defined by the ATF? Then every kit built gun, converted ban era gun, converted low cap WASR, and converted Saiga are US made. As long as they don't have more than 10 imported parts on the list. Or are we going for everything made here? That would mean the expensive to manufacture parts like the bolt and bolt carrier. Has anyone really made these parts in the US?

Quoted: ATI sells an akm that is made in PA Red Jacket firearms springs to mind. Arsenal makes a variety of aks. AKs are easy to make and are an entry level platform for a developing firearms company. Almost all of the ones you have listed are foreign manufactured parts kits put together with a few minor US parts and maybe barrels. Some of them on US receivers. Very few AKs with 100% made in USA parts. |

Only one I know of that is 100% U.S. Really no reason to get one unless you want it 100% U.S. for some reason. |
