How long can the average person hold their breath while their head is either buried in the sand or up their ass?

Strange how strategies outlined in that speech keep popping up in what we’re seeing in America & the world today.

I don’t remember Michael Yon ever bringing up that speech in an interview but he sure talks about “conquering without firing a shot” in his latest interview.  He mentions the strategy of dividing locals among themselves by bringing up a greater conflicts and drawing them into supporting one side or the other due to their ethnicity or associations.  He specifically brings up the Turk/Armenian conflict as an example but I think we’re also seeing that play out with the Russia/Ukraine & Israel/Palestinian conflicts to further divide us up into smaller subgroups from our already political, social, religious, & cultural divides.  Just get us to fight amongst ourselves until we finally get to the point where we start killing each other.  That certainly seems to be where we’re going.

I admit to being disappointed in the Shawn Ryan interview as I felt it left out many topics I was hoping he’d cover.  Yon’s latest interview does some of that and also goes deeper on relative topics he talks about in interview after interview, such as information warfare as well as the usual pandemic, famine & conventional warfare discussions.  I think it’s worth a listen.

Prepping 101: The Step-by-Step Guide to Surviving Global Chaos | Glenn TV | Ep 345

Prepping 101: The Step-by-Step Guide to Surviving Global Chaos

No one is laughing at preppers any more. The movement that used to be considered fringe is becoming more mainstream. But why? Glenn speculates that people all over the world are witnessing the assault on their basic needs to sustain human life … by their own governments! Food production is being altered, water is being fought over, and energy is getting flipped completely upside down. The threat of World War 3 has never been closer, and many Americans are worried about political divide fallout over the November 2024 election. After 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, and the COVID-19 pandemic, we learned we can’t rely on Big Government to save us. Because not only is the government creating much of the chaos, Glenn reveals how totally unprepared our officials are for the next major disaster. No one is coming to save you, so Glenn heads to the chalkboard to outline step by step how you can get your family prepared for a catastrophe. But don’t be overcome by your fear; react to it with resilience. Preparing is not as daunting as it seems, and it can be done inexpensively in stages. Disaster preparedness specialist Chris Ellis has served in a variety of disaster and homeland defense positions. He joins Glenn to discuss his findings on the history and growth of preparedness in America and why the prepper movement is growing here and in other countries like Taiwan, Israel, Japan, and Sweden. His simple advice to get started? Go camping and touch nature.

Just love how these dumbasses called this gun violence when it's gang violence and now political violence spilling over in to America from other counties given who these illegal criminals killed. A political leader of another counties son.

But it's gun violence so let's restrict and disarm law abiding Americansbe cause of bidens screwed up border policies letting these violent gangs in and now assassins.

How about this. Let's restrict the Democratic left-wing socialists extremist governments ability to ignore America's laws by prosecuting them as traitors against the American citizens and our Constitution for treasonous acts. The Democratic Socialist dictatorship is destroying America.

These traitors are attacking America's energy and food supplies and safety. Then creating bioweapons to use against Americans. I find it so damn convenient that big phar is or has already developed a vaccine for this new bio threat that conveniently is infecting our food supply now. I believe that's what i read in an earlier post. It's all so damn convenient to happen so close to another election.

This BS is getting out of hand and must be dealt with to stop these treasonous wanna be dictators bastards. Listening to the news, everything that they say a damn fool can see its a lie and oh so convenient.

I listened to that this morning while laying in bed, around 0330.

Even though I think of this shit every single stinking day, I couldn't fall asleep until damn near 0600 - and then, for the three hours I slept, had EOTWAWKI dreams from hell!

Can't we just fucking get it on already?!? I swear, I'll have another stroke (or a heart-attack), just from the stress of waiting...(and I'm probably as prepped as most anyone you know)!

To my recollection, I’ve only had one dream I would call an EOTWAWKI dream and that was back during the end of the Obama years about 2015 or so.

I was sitting in a booth of a diner by a large front window looking out to the town square of some unknown small town with “people I knew” but don’t know now.

We all were waiting to order our food on an apparent normal day with the sun shining on a clear day, then things change in an instant with the town square filled  with people, all fighting with each other with all kinds of hand-to-hand weapons, but no guns that I saw.

The next thing I know, I was on the sidewalk curb in front of the downtown stores where I get into a confrontation with a person who looks possessed with rage. We fight and I knock him to the ground.  He’s unable to get up but is able to grab my leg and bite me just above the ankle.  I scream out in pain and that’s the point I wake up.

I don’t know if it was something I ate but that was also around the same time I saw a Chinook flying above US Hwy 75 from the south & turn west to follow the Bush tollway as I was I was looking out the window in a 5th floor meeting at work as well as on a separate occasion when seeing an Apache flying south along Hwy 75 in Plano heading towards downtown Dallas as I sat in stop-n-go rush hour traffic trying to make my way home in the opposite direction.

Both helicopters where flying approximately 500 to 800 ft above the highway.  Never seen anything like that before or since those two times.

Will Your State LEAVE In A National Divorce?!

Welcome back to the Texas News podcast, where we dive into all things Texas politics and the future of independence in the state of Texas. Many people think Texas is the only state with one foot out the door, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Believe it or not, there are other states where support for independence is surging and ready to hit the tipping point.

In this episode, we examine the results of two recent polls that asked Americans if they would support their state gaining independence from the United States. The numbers are SHOCKING and the perfect slap in the face to the federal government. So, we explore which states are in the running for the title: “Most Likely to Secede” and why support is higher than the federal government is willing to admit. This is an exciting episode you won’t want to miss!

Are the Chinese building a bridge in Central America to fuel America's migrant crisis? Huge structure 'big enough for a column of tanks' springs up in Panama... but no-one is sure who is funding it

Both have already had price increases.  Cattle over a longer period, but chicken has increased rapidly over the last 3 months.  If you consider the replacement schedules (how long it takes to grow an animal to harvest size) US grown beef is going to continue to increase for some time.  Beef imports will hold down the price somewhat, but in the US calves are already at record prices to buy, and that forces increased prices at the time of slaughter.  Feed costs have decreased a bit, and fuel is holding, but everything else, chemicals, medications, labor, transport, etc... is continuing to rise.

Eggs are at the high end of the price range already, I would expect them to rise as well.

There is no way this ends well for the consumer.

There is no way this continued rise in prices is sustainable for folks' living paycheck to paycheck.  We live very comfortably still but the price increase is noticeable on a month to month for the basics.

My wife and I both have good jobs for our area, bought our house back in 2012.  Thank God we already have what we have in retrospect, because at our current level of income we could not afford to buy what we have again.  We still have it good, but it didn't come without sacrifice for years and years and we still live a frugal lifestyle compared to most people we know that have similar income levels.  We are debt free minus our mortgage which is privately held flat rate total sum, and we just bought a new Subaru for the wife.  We could pay it off but financed half just in case.  Still have her old Jeep Patriot, which is a rust bucket, bought it new and have used it up for the most part.  Still salt and snow in my AO so we are using until the roads are clean then will sell it.  My truck is a 2017 and paid off, I have a beater Honda civic too.  We have plenty of toys, camper, ATVs, motorcycles all older but bought and paid for.  In reality we are not just getting by but the hit and costs of everything is becoming noticeable.  If we weren't at the point, we are at in our life I really think it would be rough going and require significant sacrifice, or we would just have to work all the time to have extra at the end of the month.  We run spreadsheets for everything and track every cent.  Most people don't.

We don't go out to dinner hardly at all anymore, and lucky if we get takeout a couple times a month.  I do 90% of our maintenance and work on everything we own.  Oil changes, brakes etc.  I do all my own service on the toys and can-do frame off builds if I want.  Changing ATV tires are a bitch by hand, but I do it all.  $100 per hour to have a shop put a new chain and sprocket on my bike isn't happening.  I am rambling now, but the point is, even doing everything myself costs of everyday things especially foods is noticeable.  If I paid someone to do everything for me, I would be broke, but yet I see people that are doing just that while driving brand new vehicles.  Have to be living on credit...

Getting fiber internet installed this weekend and dropping our Dish network bundle because now is a good time to stay focused on saving.

$150 a month for Dish and DSL which is slow by today's standards.
$29.99 a month for 100mbs fiber.  Add a new streaming service plus the couple we already have, and we are knocking $75 a month off the top.

It's easy to not pay attention to it through and brush it off as whatever and just make the payment but a bit of planning now is going to be worth its weight soon.  AT some point in the near future lots of folks are goign to end up in the negative with no way to recover.

The scary part is commodities are starting to show climbing rates, which drive groceries and other necessities higher.  Inflation is likely rebounding like the early 1980's and Powell is going to have to increase rates further.

The era of cheap debt is over and now the piper must be paid.

Very interesting!  I’ve listened to just over 10 minutes of his presentation below when he starts talking about Big Ag.  Boy, I’d sure love to hear what he’d have to say about what’s going on today!

Thanks for introducing me to Derry Brownfield.
