Just watched the movie telling the story of the Iranian Embassy siege in London in 1980. Movie was good IMHO and seeing some of the old school SAS gear was really cool. It was rather weird to see how much England has changed from then to now in dealing with terrorism. The movie portrayed Thatcher and the government taking a hardline on terrorism. I wonder if an attack would be authorized in today's atmosphere.

Did they show Margaret Thatcher drinking tea in the middle of the room full of dead terrorists?

Or am I misremembering things when she would have tea with dignitaries during live-fire SAS MOUT exercises?

All of the SAS guys wore what looked like a heavy leather vest. I assume it offered ballistic protection?

Seeing the light on the MP5 should make everyone happy flashlight technology has progressed.

Just watched it on Amazon.

Very good. Inevitably will be compared to Final Option, but 6 days is far more realistic.

The movie concentrates on the planning and rehearsals for the assault. It also ratchets the tension up every time they

stage for the assault but stand down instead.

Not a shoot'em up.
