I have a 1984, yes 1984 Honda--the first four wheeler. It has cost me nothing but an occasional spark plug, oil change and one $60.00 carb rebuild when I didn't run it for months and left the gas in with no Sta-bil. Others say that is common for Honda's. If you just want to buy one, ride it, do routine maintenance, but spend nothing else, get a Honda.
Buy a Honda, in other words. It is like cruise and air on a vehicle--it is a luxury when you buy it, but quickly becomes a necessity, especially if you hunt and such. If you are not a stupid kid just riding for fun, make sure you get racks front and rear. They are very expensive to add later. Not having them severely limits the usefulness of the machine. If you just want to tear through the hills, I cannot address that as I don't understand it at all, kind of like the jet ski thingys. [rolleyes]
