How's this for a good 3 gun match?

20in RRA AR-15
Springfield XD-9 4"
Remington 1187

Would you change anything with this setup?

Unless you are shooting birds, I'd got with a long range rifle (better than a .308) instead of the shotty.

Shotty doesn't buy you anything over the AR.

Course it all depends on what you wanna do with it.......are you talking a 3 gun match competition?

Springfield XD-..40 5" makes major if you have the right ammo. This only matters is you can get the extra points

Depending on the rules open/limted, major/minor scoring is the optic and caliber.

The 5.56 is scored minor and the 9mm also is minor. If you cant get the Major points I would stay with the 9mm. If you have any optics on the rifle it may move you to Open class for the whole match.
