It's simple really. The NRA doesn't want to settle the issue once and for all, one way or the other. They'll all be out of a job. They have a vested interest in the status quo, pitting one side against the other. You want them to give up a 6 figure salary and a cushy job flying around the country going to shooting events?

It's simple really. The NRA doesn't want to settle the issue once and for all, one way or the other. They'll all be out of a job. boy, it sure would be nice to think that we could get to a point where there would be no need for gun rights groups, but fyi, the nra was not designed for this in the first place. besides, i don't think that we will EVER get to the point where the nra would not have a fight.
