get a couple stag lowers. they cant be very high #'s or grizzlys or ameetec lots a new lowers being offered with low #'s |

is it just me or does the stamping on it look like a post ban stamping ,I had a preban dpms and it was a Plain jane stamping not the big block letters

Uh, let's not forget that many states have twin state level bans in effect, and a stripped lower is NOT an AWB, per the ATF. A transfer would take that AWB status of that lower away. Might as well be selling it as a post-ban.... |

Guys, the letter that says that a preban loses that status if stripped would not stand a court challenge, if the rifle was assembled prior to the ban, in preban form.

that's not a rollmark, it's cast into the lower. i don't remember seeing those markings until AFTER the '94 ban. DPMS had an "older" marking, amaller, plain type, not as fancy. cast lower, by Ruger's Lone Pine Casting division, IIRC |
