Sometimes, I really wonder about the longevity of any marriage.  Ours is almost 8 years now.  A record for both of us!

I offer my sincere congratulations and offer my respect for your perseverence.  It takes a lot from two people to stay together and I can only imagine the things you've been through.
You deserve the 'attaboys'.
Nice going. [8D]

A hearty congrats!!!

I assume you have no "I got a gun for my wife - best trade I ever made!" bumper stickers on your car!!!

Tell the wife that we here at AR15.com are glad you didn't kill yourself!!

Wait.... maybe you should just tell her we said "congrats"......  [BD]

Married myself - so I'm allowed to poke fun. [:D]

....WHY is that the way it supposed to be?   The way it would be if not for the governnnment/courts,most guys would be shagging everything they could till they are in their 50's.Marriage .......NEVER!......I just couldnt kiss ass for more than the first few sex sessions!

Congratulations Roxy !!!  This August will be my 27th anniversary.  I love her more today than I have ever.  Love keeps growing, but you know that.  For those who would like to know how a marriage lasts, remember a few pointers:

 You must learn to ALWAYS forgive anything, no matter how much you have been hurt;

 You must be patient until it really hurts;

 Love your spouse as you do yourself for you two are now one;

 Forgive, Forgive, Forgive, Forgive and hold
no grudges or hard feelings for any wrong done to you.

Do these few, simple things and you too will have a long, happy marriage.

Lawdog (trust me, I follow my own rules and it works)

Congrats!  It does require teamwork and, sometimes, a large dose of anger management.  Forty one for us this year.  I'm 59 and retired and that has required more adjustment on both our parts.  I spend lots more time at the range but I always try to wipe the big grin off my face before I return home.  Can't let her know that I'm having that much fun...
